Hi, I’m Karina — founder and creative director of EZ-Occasions.

EZ-Occasions was born after one of the biggest adventures of my life. After several years in the corporate world, I moved to Barcelona, Spain, completed my master’s abroad, and spent time traveling throughout Europe. Along the way, I became deeply inspired by beautiful spaces, architecture, color, texture, lighting, and all the thoughtful details that make people feel something.

What started as a creative dream quickly turned into a passion-driven business focused on transforming spaces into unforgettable experiences.

Today, alongside Rossana, my lead designer (and sister), and our incredible team, we specialize in creating whimsical, immersive, and design-forward events throughout Connecticut, New York, and New England. From dramatically draped tented receptions to glowing ballroom transformations and bespoke event installations, we love taking our clients’ visions and turning them into something magical, intentional, and completely unforgettable.

Over the years, our work has been featured in multiple publications, and we’ve had the honor of collaborating with some of the best planners, venues, florists, and event professionals in the industry. But what matters most to us is how our clients feel throughout the process.

We know event planning can feel overwhelming at times, which is why our goal is to make the design experience feel exciting, seamless, and genuinely enjoyable. We’re here to guide you, collaborate with you, obsess over the details with you, and create a space that feels uniquely yours.

Around here, there’s usually a lot of fabric, a little controlled chaos, plenty of coffee, and at least one “what if we added more draping?” moment every day — but above all, there’s passion behind everything we create.
